About us

The Center for Arts, Design, and Social Research, Inc. is a private, nonprofit educational institution that provides instruction in and conducts research on the relationship of art and design to global societies.

Our publications are created through collaborative and multidisciplinary processes. They convene people from diverse backgrounds and experiences to share knowledge addressing urgent issues in global societies.

Our publications strive to be accessible to all. As such, they are distributed as Open Access, with the possibility of purchasing a printed version or making donations.

The Center is sustained by a global network of supporters, whose generosity continues to make possible new forms of community and creative work. The generosity of individual donors is at the core of our ongoing success, but we also regularly partner with other cultural and institutional partners.

We are deeply grateful for all levels of financial and organizational support as we build our experiment in global arts research and education. If you'd like to make a tax deductible donation, please visit our website.
